Learn More About:

  • Long-time Disney Dispatch readers may remember that the site was born of hullabaloo. In fact, for the first few months of its life, Disney Dispatch had nothing but hullabaloo, and even the best of us can't maintain that pace forever. So here's Hullabaloo V2. It's occasional. The moment must be right. But when something memorable - or at least mentionable - does come down the Disney pike, it will get its hullabaloo here: book reviews, website discoveries, theme park happenings, Disney pop culture, and more!

  • Bob McLain keeps a low profile, mostly. If you ever saw him, you'd say "that guy doesn't look like the hullabaloo type". But in Bob the hullabaloo runs deep, and there's no predicting when it will erupt in informative analysis of some new Disney device or development. When the hullabaloo has left him, Bob relaxes in his reclining chair with a vintage bubble gum cigar.

Vinylmation Double Release: Robots + POP!

JUL 20 Fans of Disney Vinylmation are digging deep to pony up for two new releases this week: the Robots series and the limited edition Disney POP! by Funko. Robots will be available nationwide, but if you want POP!, better act fast. Here's how to get both...

Walt Disney's Love of Steam Trains

JUL 7 To help publicize the "Magic Behind the Steam Trains" tour at Disney World's Magic Kingdom, the Mouse turned to well-known Disney historian Jim Korkis to put together (and star in!) a short promotional video. All aboard...

Snow White and the Seven Dead Dwarves

JUN 29 Since a couple of days ago, when I published Snow White and the Seven Dead Dwarves, zombie fairy tales have been all the rage. But to read it, you need a Kindle. And a lot of people don't own Kindles. No problem. Here's what to do...

Review: Waking Walt

JUN 27 Waking Walt, by former Disneyland and Disney World Vice-President Larry Pontius, is a novel that explores what happens when frozen Walt is woken up. You know you've wondered! Is Larry's book warmed-over? Or is it a frozen treat?
