Celebrity Disney

About the Column

Sure, sure, everyone wants to see Mickey, or maybe Cinderella, but what about the freshly, often fleetingly famous (and sometimes the genuinely famous) who flock to the Disney Parks in search of pixie dust and photo ops? Disney makes a big deal out of these appearances - but only when the celebrities are Disney-worthy. Here on Celebrity Disney, we spotlight all the stars, especially the infamous ones, with a generous helping of the snarkiest comments on earth.

Seen at Disney: Joe Perry and Dr. Conrad Murray

After decades with Aerosmith, Joe Perry still looks fantastic as he poses with Goofy outside the Rock 'n Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios, but the same cannot be said for the rather goofy-looking Dr. Conrad Murray as he soars high on Dumbo.

None of those comments made it onto the site because they were really nasty and full of anger, kind of like Chris Brown himself.

I will defray the travel costs of further Chris Brown trips to Disneyland...

Joe Perry

Joe Perry, lead guitarist for Aerosmith, posed with Goofy (who still wants his hat back from Chris Brown, by the way) on May 24 in Disney World.

The two posed outside the Rock 'n Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios.

John Frost of The Disney Blog also noted Perry's presence in the park. Frost wrote: "I have a no autograph policy when celebrities are in the parks." I wasn't aware that John Frost had such a problem with celebrities asking him for autographs.

Joe Perry is 60 years old. And he looks fantastic.

Perry's visit was 'official', which means it was covered on the DisneyParks Blog. Oddly, only two people left comments, one to say that he worked in the same town where Joe Perry lived, and the other to sum up the experience: "Aerosmith ROCKS!".

Dr. Conrad Murray

Meanwhile, in Disneyland, Dr. Conrad Murray seemed unconcerned last Sunday about his upcoming manslaughter trial in the death of Michael Jackson.

Dr. Murray was Jackson's personal physician and was (allegedly) with Jackson when the singer died.

The good-until-proven-guilty doctor was caught riding Dumbo and apparently waving to the crowd.

The expression on Dumbo's face says it more eloquently than I ever could...
