About the Column
Back in the old days, it was actually possible to visit every site on the Internet about Disney. Nowadays, it's not even possible to count all the sites on the Internet about Disney. I visit quite a few of them compiling the Hullabaloo, and often I find gems - digitally buried treasure - maintained by folks who love Disney so much it doesn't matter that the traffic to their sites may be a trickle. In Daily DIZcovery, I'll pick a different dynamite Disney site every day, typically one you've never heard about, and hopefully turn their trickle into a torrent.

The Disney Chick
This chick pulls no punches and takes no prisoners
At first glance, The Disney Chick's blog looks like any ol' Disney blog: content down the left, links and other stuff down the right, and a generic Disney picture pasted at the top.
Well, sure, it looks that way: but it reads like something else entirely!
I'm a sucker for quirky Disney content. And I'm an absolute fool for well-written quirky Disney content.
The Disney Chick delivers.
Her latest article, Three Disney Characters I'd Rather Spend Valentine's Day With, is a good example of what you'll find on this blog.
Finding herself date-less on Valentine's Day, the Chick's romantic soul conjures a trio of fantasy self-pairings: Eric, Aladdin, and Hercules. What's so quirky about that?
The Chick didn't just pick these fellas for their looks.
Sure, she wants Eric because he's handsome, but more important, he's easily manipulated and he doesn't really care for conversation.
If you like such brutally honest snark, you'll love The Disney Chick - even when it's not Valentine's Day!
And take the time, while you're there, to leave a comment with your top three Disney characters built for lovin'. So far, the only comment is from Gay Linc who covers both genders and one other species with Alice, Flynn Ryder, and Tigger.
My picks? Maleficent, Mulan, and Piglet. Why Piglet? We'll need something to eat.
Come back tomorrow for another Daily DIZcovery!
