Celebrity Disney

About the Column

Sure, sure, everyone wants to see Mickey, or maybe Cinderella, but what about the freshly, often fleetingly famous (and sometimes the genuinely famous) who flock to the Disney Parks in search of pixie dust and photo ops? Disney makes a big deal out of these appearances - but only when the celebrities are Disney-worthy. Here on Celebrity Disney, we spotlight all the stars, especially the infamous ones, with a generous helping of the snarkiest comments on earth.

Seen at Disney: Terence J

The celebrity crisis deepens, as fewer notables than ever dropped by Disney this week. If it continues, I'll have to change this column to Celebrity Blogger Disney - those guys are always there. In the meantime, meet... Terence J.

I'm really, really sorry.

The celebrities seem to be shunning the Disney parks.

Are they not able to lock in discounts? I'm not sure. I just know it's a problem, and if any celebrities are reading, please plan a trip, quick.

In the meantime...

This guy doesn't even have a Wikipedia entry. (The most famous 'Terence J' on Wikipedia was a politician from the 1800s who appears to have huge hanks of hair growing out of his ears.)

As far as I know, our Terence J is not related to him, or to the more famous J's (O. and Dr.), but he does appear on Black Entertainment Television (BET) as the host of 106 & Park.

And he swung by Disney World on May 13 to rock a pair of Mouse ears and pose with Captain Hook.

Forget about the sword: it's the yellow watch that scares me!

All kidding aside, Terence J. is a good guy who contributes his time to Disney's Dreamers Academy, a program that facilitates career enrichment programs for high school students at Disney World.

If I had the balls, I'd wear a yellow watch, too.

Until next week, keep your feet on Main Street and keep reaching for the Disney stars.
