Have you ever just had one of those days?

The sun hides behind the clouds, strangers greet you with a grunt, and everything just seems blah.

I call those my Eeyore days. When I have one, my tail falls off, and just when I've got it tacked back on, my poor little house of sticks tumbles to the ground.

On days like those, I look for a pick-me-up, a reminder to lighten up and stop sweating the small stuff. One sure-fire way to put a smile on my face is to talk 'Disney' with me (or even better, see Disney with me - Disney World, that is).

I love things that make me go... Disney! Things that remind me of fun times with friends and family in the parks.

Have you ever seen something that makes you go... Disney? I'm sure you have; they're everywhere! For example: the stick figure families adorned with Mickey ear hats or the pink-crowned Minnie antenna topper on the minivan next to you in traffic.

In my moments of gloom, I'm especially thankful for Disney World reminders.

To help you in your moments of gloom, today's 'love note from Disney' focuses on some of my favorite Disney reminders and where to get them. Think of it as 'Wish You We're Here!' All the way from Disney World to you and me!

Disney Car Decals

I love seeing Disney car decals.

How could you not see these decals and smile? (I only laugh if there are like a bajillion cats - that is funny.) These cute little decals always remind me of my own family trips to Disney World. I think about the sights and sounds of Main Street, U.S.A. or watching Illuminations at the end of a long day of fun in the parks.

You can buy Disney car decals from the Disney Store. There are lots to pick from. I got a stinkin' cute Mickey decal for my birthday from my sweet friend. I feel like Mickey peeks over my window as an ambassador of happiness. Of course, if I am annoying you in traffic, he probably just adds to your aggravation. But he is too cute!

Disney Antenna Toppers

And you have got to love these little beauties. I love seeing the antenna toppers that have been thoroughly'loved'. You know what I mean: they're faded, maybe missing an ear. That is a faithful antenna topper!

I have tons of antenna toppers, but I don't actually put them on my car antenna. A friend gave me the great idea to use them in my classroom as pointers. (I'll write a DIY Disney post later to show you how to make your own!)

Antenna toppers are a fun 'cheap' buy at Disney World and you can even get theme-y with them by buying several and putting different ones on your antenna depending on your mood, a special event, a holiday, or anything.

Disney Purses

I love seeing this purse in public. I love taking this purse out in public. There is something that comes over people when they see it. It is just such a cute and happy purse. I especially love it because it has so many trademark Disney icons.

From Premium Mickey Bars to Flying Dumbos, these purses brim with happiness! I love the graphics and bright colors, and how they stand out in a crowd. I feel like people who own these purses are kindred spirits. I always make a friend when I see someone else carrying a Disney purse!

Disney Hair Wraps

I teach. Therefore, I always see children who have just gotten back from Disney World. I especially love seeing a kid with a hair wrap and asking: "Hey, how was Disney?". They always look back at me wide-eyed with shock like I am a fortune teller or something.

I don't let them in on this, but I could pick out a Disney hair wrap from a mile away. The bright yarn and metal accents conjure up the sights and smells of Disney World (especially Adventureland) for me. I can almost hear the Swisskapolka playing in the background when I see these brightly colored hair decorations.

It is a random stupid human trick. But since it makes me look like a complete genius (well, at least to a 7 year old), I go with it.

Ashley Bids Fond Farewell

I hope you enjoyed my love note from Disney World. It came with happy tidings of fond memories and fun-filled days.
